• First off you’ll need to change your import settings to get iTunes to convert the track to MP3.
• In the current version of iTunes, hold down “Command” and press “,” or go the iTunes Menu and select Performances.
• Once in the “General” Performance pane click the “Import Settings” button.
• Now change the “Import Using” from the default “AAC encoder” setting to “MP3 Encoder”.
• You can also change the quality setting too, if you so choose.
• Click OK to save this settings.
